Fishing Nymps and scuds
Trout feed most of the time below the surface of the water, and occasionally on the surface.
Fishing a nymph will result in catching the most fish the most fish, but which Nymph do you use?
The best way to know which nymph or scud to use it to turn over a few rocks. You don't need to know what insect it is, just try to match the size and colour of the insect. The fish in your area should recognize them as food.
When there is very little or no surface action, try a nymph.
Have some great fishing.
