First, you may be curious about our name and how we arrived at it. Asutsi is a Cherokee word meaning, "To Bridge". With that in mind, since we are addicted to anything involving the great outdoors and trails such as Trail running, hiking, we would feel amiss without a name describing us and our love for the outdoors.
We are tucked away in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. We have found ourselves through the years thoroughly studing and becoming very excited about outdoor equipment and not being able to wait until new products come along. With this in mind, the idea spawned that we should use our love both for the outdoors and for the equipment used there to help other people both enjoy the passion of the outside and to have quality gear while there.
We are an energetic family as you may already have sensed and are no strangers to hard work. We look forward to building a lasting relation with our customers and promise to be honest and caring in working with you.
I feel I am qualified to help you with many of your outdoor needs.
Having loved the complete totality of running, hiking, biking and camping since I was too young to remember, I pursued that dream in high school and college.
I was fortunate to be a member of a state championship team in high school for cross country and then individually was again fortunate in representing my state as a state champion. During college I was proud to be a member of a championship Southern Conference team. I was also an individual Southern Conference champion.
After college, I represented the United States on the USA Duathlon team for run/bike/run racing. I have gone on many camping trips - mostly locally in the mountains of my home state that I love so dearly.
The love of the outdoors and all equipment involved therein has always intrigued me. I have thoroughly studied all the products that I have listed and will not have anything for sell that I do not "Believe in". I will be happy to try to answer any questions that you have about any of the equipment that I am selling whether you buy from Asutsitrail or not. Also, we will do our very, very best to "Bridge Quality from our door to yours". |
