10” ~ 7/8” wide satin ribbon

Instructions:
1. Using a 1/2" seam allowance, sew four minky squares together to form a square for the back of blanket. Repeat for front of blanket.
2. Fold a 10” piece of 7/8” wide satin ribbon in half and pin 3/4" below one of the corners facing the center of the blanket. Baste in place using a 1/4" seam allowance.
3. With right sides facing each other, pin the blanket squares together. Using a ½” seam allowance stitch around the entire blanket pivoting at the corners and leaving a 4” opening for turning. (Stitch over the ribbon area several times for added strength.) Trim corners diagonally.
4. Turn blanket right side out and hand stitch the opening closed using a blindstitch.
Attaching Pacifer:
Insert ribbon through pacifier hole (shown in 1st diagram)
Push blanket through ribbon loop (shown in 2nd diagram)
Pull tight to secure(shown in 3rd diagram)
