At Cali-Gal Stitches you will find fabrics, sewn items, books, and other things that I like to shop for myself. In addition to current premium brand quilt-shop cottons, I stock oilcloth, minky, poly-cotton sheeting, silks, knits, and decorator fabrics. I offer a lot of fabrics that are hard to find and no longer available elsewhere. These are first-rate quality name-brand prints that have been retired from previous seasons. I also offer other types of fabrics and supplies for all your sewing and crafting projects. And I am always on the hunt for vintage treasures and good deals that I will pass along to you. How do I pay? I accept payment via PayPal - please use the "pay now" button on my invoice.
How soon do I have to pay? Payments are due within 5 days after I send your invoice, but if you are still shopping just let me know. Or if you run into a problem please contact me so we can work it out.
Why did you send me a payment reminder? I send out payment reminders almost daily on all purchases. Sometimes buyers forget they have not paid. Or they lose the original invoice. A payment reminder does not necessarily mean your payment is late. If you need more time to pay or want to continue to shop, just let me know so I can make a note of it. eBay also sends out automatic payment reminders every couple of days.
Can I pay with a Check or Money Order? Ebay does not allow sellers to accept checks or money orders any more; this policy went into affect in October 2008. It is easy, fast, and free to set up a PayPal account, and it offers you buyer protection on your purchases. You can link a PayPal account to your checking account or a credit card.
Do you accept credit cards? Using PayPal, you can pay via credit card even if you don’t have a PayPal account. As a PayPal guest you can use your credit card up to 15 times to pay for things on eBay with guest checkout. Sellers never see your bank account details or debit/credit card numbers when you use PayPal.
What will it cost to ship my package? Please read the "Shipping Info" inside the item description. I have noted the shipping method for the specific item based on weight and quantity. There is a shipping calculator on all items; check the "shipping and payments" tab at the top of each listing page and fill in your location. Please wait for my invoice for shipping discounts. If you purchase multiple items, I will combine shipping fees for you on your invoice.
The shipping fee seems high. Do you combine shipping? The eBay automatic ship calculator often overcharges. Please wait for my invoice with SHIPPING DISCOUNTS if you have made multiple purchases - I will combine shipping. Shipping is based on the weight of each item. Any item or combined items over 13 oz. must ship via priority mail or parcel post to locations in the USA. If you want expedited or overnight shipping, please ask and I will quote you the rates.
How much of this do you have? The quantity is noted on all items near the middle-top of each item page. Occasionally I will have more than one listing for the same item, so check out my store. If ther is no quantity noted, that means there is only one piece of the item. If you are looking for a large amount of an item, please contact me and I may be able to bring in more stock for you.
Can I buy partial yards of this fabric? Most of my fabrics are sold by-the-yard. I do not offer partial yards on by-the-yard fabrics. Some items are available pre-cut in a partial yard length. Check the item description for details.
How do I purchase multiple yards or items? At the top-center of the item page there is a cell with the word "quantity" next to it. The stock available will be noted to the right. Fill in the quantity that you want to purchase, click the buy-it-now button, and wait for my invoice. I can not change the quantity of your order (that is for the buyer’s protection). You will need to place an order for the amount that you want. Please WAIT for my invoice. I will correct the shipping fees for your purchase. If you have ordered other items, I will combine all onto one invoice and combine the shipping fees.
Will my fabric be continuous yardage? Yes, I cut to order on all "by-the-yard" fabrics. So all yardage will be one continuous piece if you order the fabric from one listing. If you have ordered the same print from separate listings, the fabric may be on different bolts, and I can't guarantee continuous yards. If you order a fabric that is described as "pre-cut" then the fabric will not be continuous.
What is the size of the dot/flower/lady on this fabric? Can you send a picture with a ruler so I can tell the size? Please read the description and scroll through the entire listing. Look for the quarter coin in one of the photos for size scale reference. A quarter is approx. 1" across. I usually have at least 3 photos and sometimes as many as 15 photos so that I can show you all the details of any product that I list.
Are the colors correct? I do my best to take accurate photos in daylight and match my on-screen image to the actual product. Please be aware that colors may appear different on your monitor.
Can I get a swatch? I can send small swatches of many of the fabrics that I sell if you need to check the color, to test for color-fastness, or to see the weight or texture of a fabric. Just contact me with your request and your accurate mailing address.
How long will it take to get my package? I ship within 1-3 business days after receiving your payment. I do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. You will receive a notification when your item ships. I ship from Southern California. For coast-to-coast shipping, USPS first class mail takes 2-7 business days, priority mail takes 2-3 business days, and media mail takes up to 15 business days. Shipments outside of the USA may take anywhere from 7-30 days depending on your location, customs, and the shipping method. Priority shipments are quickest and have tracking available. Keep in mind that the postal service does not operate on Sundays or holidays.
I made a mistake. Can I cancel my purchase? Yes, mistakes happen. If you have changed your mind, made a mistake, or your circumstances have changed, just send me a message, and I will send a cancellation for your order. Please reply to the cancellation with the option "mutually agree to cancel".
Do you accept returns? I offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on most items. Contact me if you are not completely satisfied. I will refund your purchase excluding shipping on most items once I receive your return. I do not accept returns on books, vintage items, or clothing, but I will do everything I can to keep you a happy customer!
My item was damaged in shipping. What can I do? Please contact me if your item is damaged. I inspect and pack all items personally. I do my best to package each item carefully to prevent damages. All items are insured so I will refund your entire purchase or ship a replacement if available. I may need photos and a description of the damage to file a claim with USPS.
My package never arrived. What can be done? Please contact me if your package does not arrive. I have a tracking number on all shipments within the USA and all priority shipments worldwide. It is rare that a package is lost, but it does happen. The post office says it is necessary to contact the delivery post office for a lost package. I can call your local post office on the first business morning after I get your message. Or you could try to speak to someone personally at your local post office. If your package was mis-delivered, it might have been returned to the post office for correct delivery. If your item has been lost, I will file a claim and refund/replace your purchase.
