Shipping and Handling Policy
The shipping and handling costs will be clearly noted on the auction item page.
We will only ship to a PayPal verified address. Remember that is the buyer’s responsibility to update his address in PayPal. Before bidding, please confirm that your address is updated correctly. If the buyer’s address is wrong, and the item is returned to the seller, the buyer will be charged with all the shipping fees including the return shipping to seller and the reshipping fees.
Combine invoice is also available upon request via email. Shipping discount is calculated on a case-by-case basis and it can range from 10%-50%, depending on both volume, and location. Please note that all shipping discounts are at the seller's discretion.
We will do our best to deliver on time. However unexpected delays occur by circumstances beyond our control such poor weather conditions, security issues or customs clearance procedures. In these circumstances we will NOT BE liable or provide compensation for the delays incurred.
If your item appears damaged in transit, please contact us immediately so we can put in a claim with the carrier.
We ship worldwide within two business days upon clearance of payment via PayPal.
Item will be shipped via registered airmail with TRACKING number using Standard International Shipping Services by Canada Post or UPS.
Import duties, taxes, tariffs and brokerage fees are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please check with your country’s Customs Service to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
The customs declaration will be completed honestly and accurately as required by international law, with the actual selling price shown as the declared value. We DO NOT mark items as “Gifts”, Canadian and International government regulations prohibit such behaviour, items will be sent as “Ebay purchase”.
We generally do not ship to APO and FPO addresses; however some items may be available for shipment to these addresses. Please feel free to email us with your request and we will do our best to fulfill the order.
We only accept PayPal at this time.
After winning the auction, an email will send to your eBay registered email address. All payments must go through eBay checkout.
Payment is expected within 3 business days of the close of any auction or fixed price listing. If you are not able to meet these expectations, please contact us to let us know that you intend to make payment.
After the fourth (4th) day from the end of the item, an unpaid item case will be filed with eBay.
Any Canadian orders that are shipped on or after January 1, 2012 will be charged the taxes and rates. These are reflective of the current Federal & Provincial rates and will be adjusted when rate adjustments are brought into effect. Taxes will be charged based on the province of residency of the buyer and receipts will be provided with GST number for tax purposes.
Orders sent to addresses outside Canada are not subject to Canadian GST, HST, or PST/QST, but they can be subject to local taxes and customs charges.
Warranty & Return Policy
Return policy only covers items that are DOA (Dead on arrival), or not as described. Customers should contact us within 7 days of receiving the item to inform us about the situation.
Customer should contact us before return the item. We will not accept returns without prior authorization.
After defect has been verified, we will either exchange or fully refund.
Please allow up to 3 to 5 business days for returns to be processed.
Return Shipping and handling charges are not refundable if the item is non-defective.
Non defective items returns. Shipping and Handling fees are non refundable even if the item was marked with free shipping. Shipping & Handling cost will be deducted from the refund which will be calculated based only in the item price. A proof or S&H cost is available upon buyer request. A 10% restocking fee of the invoice final value may be applied for non defective items returns at Catalogeek’s sole discretion.
Defective products sold with a Manufacturer Direct Warranty must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement. For these items, the warranty policy from the product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc. be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or "end-user") of the item.
CATALOGUEEK™ will not be responsible or held liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of any product(s) it sells. All warranties cover manufacture defects only.
Due to licensing and copyright laws, we do not accept returns on software or videogames once a package has been opened. Defective software or videogame will be exchanged for the same title only or fully refund.
All product(s) must be return as originally received to include original packaging, manuals, documentation, and all bundled accessories. Returns must be packaged appropriately as to minimize any unnecessary damage during transit. Product(s) damaged during shipment will invalidate the warranty and will be returned to the customer at the customer expense.
Software and Video games:
We offer a full refund or exchange if available for defective games. Software and Games must be returned at buyer’s expense, and must include all manuals, Disc's & packaging materials. Customer refund will be issued after defect has been verified. Opened games or software may NOT be returned for any other reason.
Defective items must be returned at buyer expense in their original packaging including all original materials supplied with the product. You will be refunded after defect has been verified. Opened items may NOT be returned for any other reason. All items have their unique Serial number; so, Serials numbers from returned items must match exactly with the numbers stored in our database.
