Frequently Asked Questions
 Q: Can I pick-up from the Helix Camera & Video store and not pay shipping?
  A: Yes, our store is located at 310 S. Racine Chicago, IL 60607. Please call in advance so that we can arrange for the item to be ready for you. Also you will have to pay local Chicago tax of 10.25% on your purchase. Store pick up is available only Monday-Friday unless arrangements are made during the week for Saturday pick-up.
 Q: Do you combine shipping?
  A: Yes. We do combine shipping on multiple auctions for a reduced shipping price. This is for auctions won that have the same user id and are paid for at the same time. Please contact us at laura@helixcamera.com or 800-334-3549 ext.159 when you are done bidding for a total.
 Q: Are extended warranties available.
  A: We do offer various Mack Warranties. Please ask about extended warranties at the time of the sale or call us at 800-334-3549 ext.159 for additional details.
 Q: What is a "demo" item?
  A: Demo items are store display items. Typically they are on the shelf for our customers to see and try out. They have never been sold and are just like new. Demos come with original paperwork and accessories unless otherwise noted. They also include full warranty.
 Q: Do you ship internationally?
  A: We are shipping select items internationally. Please contact us via email at laura@helixcamera.com or 800-334-3549 ext.159 for more information.
 Q: Can packages sent internationally be marked as a gift or indicated a lower value?
  A: No, all international packages are marked at the value purchased on eBay. Packages can not be marked a a "gift", nor can we falsify the value.
 Q: Do I have to pay custom duties or fees?
  A: Yes. Orders being sent outside the US may be subject to local custom duties and/or fees. Helix is not responsible for and can offer no specific advice on import fees, duty, customs, or taxes that you may be charged when your merchandise reaches you and urges you to consult your local government import office with any questions.
