The vastly underrated John Ostrander does it again. We quote Frank Plowright, editor of the Slings & Arrows Comic Guide:
"Batman foe Deadshot was a core member of Suicide Squad, and has been diagnosed as a hitman with a death wish. While Floyd Lawton (DEADSHOT) is on a mission to locate his kidnapped son, his therapist, now harbouring feelings for Lawton, checks into his past. It's a gloomy, depressing story of a fractured family from the Suicide Squad team of John Ostrander, Kim Yale, and artist Luke McDonnell...excellently plotted and executed. Deadshot's fatalism and the deperate optimism of therapist Marnie Herrs are well contrasted, particularly in an epilogue scene. Not a laugh to be had, and all the better for it - FP
