TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THESE ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE, APPLY TO ALL CUSTOMERS REGARDLESS OF STATUS OR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED AND THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS
HOURS OF BUSINESS
1. Our business hours are:- Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30 hrs., Saturday 09:00-12:30 hrs., Sunday and Bank Holidays - Closed.
2. Whilst orders can generally be placed with us on an around the clock basis please note we keep regular office hours and we do take holidays, we are not open 24/7 (business hours and any closed notices where applicable are clearly shown here and on each product page/our shop). Our shop opening hours are UK British Standard Time, kindly keep this in mind and allow adequate response intervals for any questions you may have, especially if you reside outside the UK BST zone (obvious nonsensical/irrelevant/time wasting queries, including those where the requested information is already clearly available in the product pages, our T&Cs, FAQs or elsewhere on our website will not be responded to).
PAYMENT AND EU DSRs
3. Payment is by PayPal Immediate Payment System only, we do not accept any other payment method. Unfortunately we are not able to advise independently on exchange rates from Pounds Sterling into your local currency - Prices should be automatically converted into your local currency if you are viewing our product pages/shop from the eBay site specific to your country of residence and also displayed to you during PayPal checkout prior to confirming your purchase/bid, if such information is not available there are many free to use web sites, one of which we have provided a link to at the "Favorite Links" section of the "About the Seller" page, that offer precise and up to date exchange rates/conversion tables for all major currencies worldwide (these sites are not affiliated to us in any way and we are not responsible for information/content they provide).
4. Non paying bidders/scammers/abusive eBayers will not be tolerated and will be reported to eBay without exception. Where items are purchased by auction full due payment through PayPal is required within ten (10) days of auction end, we will only issue one (1) payment reminder if necessary after three (3) days, if payment is not received by the end of the above mentioned time period a NPB (Non Paying Bidder) notice will be issued/filed with eBay and your details will be placed on the blocked bidders/buyers list (there are no exemptions from this rule - Bids are non-withdrawable and by placing a bid you are undertaking a legal obligation to honour your debt if you win the auction - We do not accept any excuses for non-payment).
5. We comply fully with EU DSRs (Distance Selling Regulations). Under current EU DSRs you are entitled to a seven (7) working day cooling off period from receipt of goods in which to cancel your order (this does not apply to auction items or to sales outside the EU and certain exemptions exist), in which case items must be returned to us at your cost and we will issue a full refund within the regulatory thirty (30) day time period. Bids/Orders/Purchases falling outside the remit of EU DSRs are non-retractable/non-changeable, you will not be able to cancel and request a refund or make any modifications.
6. For insurance reasons and to enable you to qualify for the PayPal Buyer Protection Programme we will not trade outside eBay under any circumstances.
SHIPPING, HANDLING AND UNDELIVERABLE ITEMS
7. Goods are despatched on the next working day after payment is received. Orders are shipped by 14:00 hrs. BST on weekdays and by 11:00 hrs. BST on Saturdays. No despatches occur on Sundays, Bank Holidays, or if we are closed.
8. We are exclusively mail order, private collections cannot be arranged and we do not use any escrow services. Orders will only be sent to the registered customers address supplied to us on the PayPal Notification Of Payment Receipt form, we will not despatch to any other requested locations.
9. We are not liable, under any circumstances, for items damaged/delayed/lost in the post/by shipper after they have been despatched by us in good condition.
10. Orders can usually still be placed even if we are closed however payment terms remain the same and no goods can be shipped until we re-open, relevant dates will always be given on the eBay alert flag on each product page and our shop. Clients are responsible for checking to see if we are closed before purchasing from us. Refunds will not be given or any correspondence entered into if after ordering you claim you were unaware we were closed because you failed to read the relevant notices and you are displeased about waiting until we re-open for despatch of your goods.
11. In the event of non-arrival/damage to goods in transit or faulty items received you must notify us in writing giving full order details and reference numbers through our official UK eBay site within ten (10) days of our confirmation of despatch being e-mailed to you. Any claim for non-arrival or damage to goods in transit has to be made by us on your behalf through the Royal Mail or other carrier however please keep in mind that this does take time and their decision is final. Any claim for faulty items received will be assessed by us on a case by case basis.
12. Any consignment deemed by the Royal Mail or other carrier to be undeliverable, for whatever reason, and returned to us shall be considered as being a completed transaction. If the customer requires the goods to be re-despatched we will charge full shipping rates (no previously granted discounts will apply) and we will implement a 25.5% re-stocking fee based on original nett order value plus a non-negotiable fixed charge of £5.99 compensation for rendered administration and packing services if the order is no longer required.
13. Orders in excess of £19.99 Pounds UK Sterling value will only be despatched using registered services, a signature will be required upon receipt of goods and an internationally recognised tracking number will be issued by the selected carrier to prove despatch and provide traceability.
14. Postal/shipping receipts with unique session reference numbers are obtained for all goods we despatch, after which no responsibility can be taken. Postal/shipping receipts can be supplied as proof of despatch if this is required by you to make a claim under the PayPal Buyer Protection Programme.
15. Orders received from un-confirmed addresses will be sent entirely at your own risk, you will not qualify for any claims against us for whatever reason under any circumstances, furthermore you may not be entitled to take advantage of the PayPal Buyer Protection Programme which offers you additional safeguards - Confirming your address entitiles you to these benefits, is easy and quick to do and costs you absolutely nothing, we highly recommend all customers confirm their addresses.
TARIFFS, DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
16. All our tariffs are clearly displayed throughout our website and they are non-negotiable.
17. Postage discounts or promotions for combined orders are only valid if items are paid for through PayPal in one single transaction covering all the products purchased as applicable discounts are automatically calculated during checkout. If items are ordered and paid for in single transactions PayPal will not be able to calculate the appropriate combined discounts and normal default rates will be applied, in these circumstances we regret will not be able to grant any discounts manually.
18. Any special offers are relevant only to the products advertised and for the duration of the listing, once the items have been sold or the listing expires (whichever happens first) the special offer will be deemed closed. Any special offers may be subsequently repeated or extended at a future date.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
19. Returns are accepted for fixed price items only and exclusively in accordance with/subject to the following conditions:-
- Item(s) must be returned within fourteen (14) days of receipt. - All shipping and relevant charges are to be paid by the customer. - Item(s) to be returned in original packing containing all supplied authentic materials and our relevant invoice. - Returned item(s) will be eligible for shop credit only and will be subject to a 25.5% re-stocking fee based on initial nett order value.
20. Refunds will only be given if goods supplied are defective or if EU DSRs are invoked and only the value of the product(s) will be refunded, postage fees will not be reimbursed. Any claims must be made in writing and within the time limit as described in the paragraph above and are subject to our judgement. Refunds requested outside the EU DSRs jurisdiction will not under any circumstances be issued if you simply decide you no longer want the product(s) or your specific requirements/tastes/expectations are not met, therefore it is recommended that you think carefully about any potential purchases you may wish to make before you place an order/bid.
COMMUNICATIONS, DISPUTES AND LEGAL
21. We will only read/reply to messages sent to us through our official UK eBay site, any messages sent to our personal e-mail addresses will be automatically deleted un-opened.
22. As we trade internationally with customers and suppliers worldwide using many different languages we advise that in an effort to avoid any possible mis-understandings we only accept written communications, we do not use Skype or any other verbal conveyance methods.
23. We always try to give full and accurate descriptions of the items we offer for sale, however manufacturers advise they may change their specifications, colours or content of goods and they may vary from illustrations supplied.
24. We are purely stockists, we do not manufacture or re-package any items we make available for purchase.
25. We accept no responsibity whatsoever for any injury sustained due to inappropriate use/application of products offered for sale/bid through our eBay site/shop.
26. In compliance with the Data Protection Act we will not issue any client information we hold on our records to third parties, for whatever reason, unless requested to do so by law.
27. Our decision is final. Any dispute not resolved between two parties will be referred to the eBay Dispute Resolution Centre and we will accept their conclusion after which no further direct correspondence will be entered into. Any subsequent actions will be handled on our behalf by our solicitors/insurers through the English courts exclusively and in accordance with English legislation.
28. Unauthorized copying or usage, by any means and for any purpose, of our trading name, eBay name, registered website names and domains, logo/artwork, or site content in any form is strictly prohibited - Such violations will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
FEEDBACK
29. It is our company policy to only decide our feedback response on a case by case basis once it has been received. Please be aware that the eBay feedback system does not allow feedback to be left by a supplier for a transaction if the buyer has changed their eBay ID between the purchase being made and the feedback reply date.
30. All our feedback is available for everyone to see (un-restricted and un-censored) on the relevant eBay pages, however due to the volume of our sales we inform clients we are not able to locate feedback comments left for specific items.
VARIOUS
31. Notice for stamp collectors - We have business accounts with the Royal Mail/other logistics companies therefore all consignments are automatically machine franked, we do not use postage stamps and no exceptions can be made.
32. We regret we are not able to provide any gift wrapping services or include any individual/personal messages/greeting cards, etc. for orders we process.
33. We reserve the right, solely and exclusively at our discretion, to refuse to supply certain individuals, companies, or specific products to particular countries without having to make public the reasons for our commercial decision.
34. We try very hard to offer the best service possible to our clients, however sometimes mistakes can occur or faulty/incorrect items may be despatched unwittingly. In these rare instances please contact us first in an effort to resolve problems following the correct eBay etiquette, do not simply leave negative feedback without any contact and thus giving us no opportunity at all to remedy the situation.
35. We have been trading worldwide for over twenty years and take great pride in our track record - We prefer no business to bad business. We respectfully request therefore that if you cannot agree fully to all our listed terms and conditions both here and any additional ones on specific product pages please do not bid/order/purchase from us. |
