Purchases
I live in a smoke-free home. We do not have any cats or dogs. My daughter has a pet rabbit named Willow. Willow lives in a cage. Some items were purchased used. I do not know the environments of the previous owners. Items are checked for odor. While odors are rare, any odor I detect is considered during my evaluation of the condition of the item.
Please ask questions before bidding. All sales are final.
Payment
Payment must be made within 7 days of invoice received, otherwise I am forced to initiate the unpaid item process. This may hinder your ability to make purchases on eBay in the future.
As of October 2008, eBay has disallowed personal checks and money orders as acceptable payment methods for transactions such as this. Until October, I accepted these methods of payment. I'm afraid that now I can't. You can see eBay's rules regarding payment methods at this link.
I accept PayPal for all purchases.
I accept cash when an item is picked up locally. I do not keep any money in my house so exact change is required. Local pick-up is by appointment only.
I leave feedback within 24 hours of receiving a cleared payment.
Shipping
Items will be shipped within 1 business day of payment clearing.
I only pass on my cost for shipping and handling. For more details, click here.
It is best to ask questions about shipping before purchasing.
I combine shipping whenever possible to save you money. This is not always feasible. Items may have different shipping methods or there may be a space issue when using a flat-rate method. If there is an issue, you will be contacted within one business day to resolve it. I will wait one more business day, and then resolve it myself.
I verify shipping addresses with the post office. If your address has had problems with the post office in the past, please contact me.
As of September 2009, eBay does not allow me to offer you an insurance option. It must be required for the item or not available. For further information, see eBays selling policy under What you're not allowed to charge.
Insurance is not available for items under $10.00
Insurance is required and included in handling charges for items over $10.00
Returns
Returns are accepted only if I have misrepresented the item in the description. I must be contacted about the discrepancy within 3 days of receipt of the item.
Payment will be reimbursed once item is returned to me.
Shipping and handling costs can not be reimbursed under any circumstances.
