Yes! I take returns with no questions asked and no drama. Just send it back within one week in the same condition you received it in. Refunds will be given for the purchase price. Postage is not refundable unless I made an error.
The following conditions do apply to returns.
Items must be returned in the same condition.
“Same condition” means that if a toy was mailed in an unopened manufacturer’s package (box, bag, etc.), i.e., "Mint in Box" it must be returned unopened, with the package undamaged. Please understand that opening a package immediately reduces the value, usually dramatically. In most cases, boxed toys I sell are collectibles and many buyers intend to keep them in the box and display the box without opening it.
“Same condition” also means that for dolls with hair in the original manufacturer’s set, it must be in the same condition when they are returned. If you have taken the hair down or combed out the starch, this is a form of damage.
Items that were shipped with batteries must be returned with working batteries. No fair using the batteries up and then sending it back. I hate to have to enforce this rule, but I have had a few toys with expensive or non-replaceable batteries returned after the batteries wore out, or with missing batteries. This definitely applies to fast food (McDonalds) toys, which generally have batteries that cannot be replaced.
I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO REFUNDS WITHOUT A RETURN! -- Not under any circumstances! Unfortunately, there are bad people out there (boo, hiss) who think this is Freebay, not eBay, and will demand an unjustified refund without a return. Typically, these scammers will invent a problem, claim the item isn't worth the time to mail it back, send a hostile and nasty message, and threaten me with negative feedback if I don’t issue a refund. This is a form of extortion. There are very, very few scammers compared to the number of awesome buyers, and I do not assume that someone with a problem or complaint is trying to scam me (and I always try to make it better), but I’ve run into way too many people wanting to keep their purchase AND get a full refund. I’m sorry if this inconveniences anyone else with a legitimate issue, but virtually every demand for a refund without a return that I’ve received has come from someone who is simply looking to get free merchandise and has invented a problem. (I also report attempted feedback extortion to eBay.)
However, I really like to be customer friendly and the vast majority of my buyers are awesome, wonderful people. If I really did mess up somehow, I will generally either pay return postage (up to the amount it cost me to ship the item to you) or ship a replacement. PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST AND WAIT FOR MY RESPONSE BEFORE MAILING AN ITEM BACK IF YOU FEEL I MADE AN ERROR.
Please note that I will not refund return shipping if the problem is color. As everyone’s monitor displays colors slightly differently, items may appear to be different shades under different lighting. Also, sometimes it’s impossible to exactly match the shade of an item in a photograph. You can return something because you don't like the color, and I will refund the purchase price, but I will not refund shipping and handling costs for color related issues.
Things that I would consider my error would be, for example, you got the wrong item, the item had damage I missed or it doesn't work properly, it was incorrectly described ("Barbie Shoes" when they're for a Bratz doll), etcetera. I don't make a lot of mistakes, but I am human, and I am not perfect. It's also fairly easy to miss damage such as a split seam or a stain when it comes to doll clothing.
If you purchased a lot or a set of items, you must return the entire lot or set for a refund. I do not do partial refunds if you send part of a set or part of a lot back. Refunds on lots and sets are all or nothing. No exceptions!
Please include the invoice when returning an item.
