| Shipping & Handling for International Customers
I love my international customers! I happily, and without paranoia or drama, sell internationally. I've experienced very few problems from my international buyers and I've made hundreds of international sales. I generally ship USPS First Class international unless the total weight of an order is over four pounds.
Please note that I do not make money on shipping. It really does cost this much in to ship internationally.
I am in the process of revising hundreds of listings with the new (mostly lower) shipping and handling fees. If you purchase a listing that has higher shipping and handling fees, please send me a request for a shipping total. I'll be happy to send you a revised invoice.
Shipping charges are as follows, unless otherwise indicated in the listing. These fees are for international buyers, other than Canadian buyers. (Canadian buyers please see "Shipping for US and Canada Customers.")
Doll shoes, small accessories, clothes, Polly Pocket dolls, Kelly & Tommy, and other light weight items.
- $3.25 flat rate regardless of the number of items ordered.
- Yes, really. You just pay $3.25 shipping regardless of the number of items ordered -- one item or 100 items, it's just $3.25 shipping!
Single Barbie & similar size dolls, and most dollhouse furniture, for United States customers -- this is for anyone with a US zip code.
- $10.00 for the first doll.
- Additional dolls cost $2.25 extra shipping.
- Doll clothes, shoes, and light weight accessories ship free with the purchase of a Barbie size doll unless otherwise indicated in the listing.
- "Barbie size" shipping costs generally apply to anything from a modern Stacey or Bratz doll on up in weight and size.
- Exceptions will be noted in the listing. Typical exceptions would be dolls that are still in the manufacturer's box ("Mint In Box") or lots of more than one doll.
Other things you should know:
- I package items carefully and professionally. With very few exceptions, I use clean new boxes and shipping materials. If it's remotely possible that the item could be damaged by squishing, I will ship it in a box. I only use bubble mailers for fairly indestructible items.
- Items will be shipped via First Class mail whenever possible, Priority mail otherwise.
- International customers are responsible for any VAT, import fees, taxes, delivery charges, brokerage fees, etcetera. The shipping and handling fee that you pay me only covers the cost of postage and packaging materials.
- International customers please note that I will not mark the customs paperwork "gift" or incorrectly represent the value of an order.
