International Shipping Rates were dramtically increased by the United States Postal Service in January of 2013, and we were forced to raise our minimum shipping rate to $7.50 for a single coin, which does not have a tracking number for the shipment. The rate usually will increase by $1.50 or $2.00 per coin, and multiple coins that have a value of over fifty dollars will increase the shipping to Registered Mail which is the safest way to ship anything internationally and allows us to confirm that your shipment was deliver and guarantee the arrival to the destination.
When your parcel is shipped, we include the Custom's Declaration CN22 which has the declared value on the label, and visible to anyone who handles the parcel. This is one reason for "lost or stolen" international parcels, and when the parcel is a small bubble mailer with a declared value of fifty to a hundred dollars, it is a target for theft; therefore, we MUST REGISTER this type of shipment.
Since the change in the shipping rates, we are asking our International Customer to contact us for the shipping cost of any listing, especially when ordering more than one coin. If you send us a list of the coins you wish to purchase from our listings, we will quote you a price for the shipping. If our price for the shipping is agreeable, we will prepare a "Special Listing" just for you, and send you the eBay Listing Number for you to purchase all the coins in one listing with one shipping price.
Consider the following: When you purchase five different dimes, the Customs CN22 Form automatically calculates the weight of each dime as one ounce; and the cost to ship these lightweight coins would be for five ounces or $7.70 plus $1.84 for our S&H Cost or a total of $9.54
However, if we prepare a "Special Listing" for the same five different dimes, from five different listings into one listing, we can ship these same coins for only $7.50 !!
So, when you need several different coins, Send Us a List.
Shipping Time for international parcels will vary, depending on the country to which it is being shipped, and we ask you to be patient as we have no control over the amount of time it takes for international shipping.
When your shipping label is printed out you will automatically receive an email with the Custom's Declaration CN22 number and the date the parcel is being shipped; however, the shipment cannot be tracked.
Registered Mail is the safest way to ship internationally and may be located with the registered mail number; but, it takes a very long time to arrive because every person that handles the parcel must sign a log before it goes to the next person.
