22 String Shepherd Lap Harp

THE PERFECT HARP FOR TRAVELING!

The Shepherd harp has 22 nylon strings and  a 3 octave range that begins at G below middle C.  It stands at 37" tall, 10 1/4 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and weighs 11 pounds.  This harp has a walnut body and an aircraft birch soundboard that provides excellent resonation.  The Shepherd may be small but produces a beautiful sound and is a super portable little harp.

The strings on this harp are nylon:  all the C strings are colored Red and all the F strings are Blue which makes it easier to figure out where you are in the scale.

We ship our harps fully assembled and ready to play.......just sit down, fine tune it, and enjoy the serenity of a beautiful harp!!  

All of our Harps come with a Tuning Wrench, Harp Care Information,  5 year warranty, and continued support from Heritage Music Staff.

Levers

You may also choose to have us add a full set of levers or just enough levers to play in the most popular keys.  The total price will be adjusted accordingly.

Example:    To play in the following keys on the 22 String Shepherd Harp you will need:

C - no levers

G - 4 levers  (all F strings)

D - 6 levers (all F and C strings)

A - 10 levers (all F and C and G strings)

F - 3 levers (all B strings

Bb - 6 levers (all B and E strings)

Knee Bones:   $29.95  U.S.

They are simple to install and remove, adjustable to hold the harp at different heights and compact enough to put in a music bag or the gig bag of your harp.  Knee bones grip the harp between padded cork surfaces so they hold firmily without damaging the instrument.  No tools are needed for installation - just tighten the wood knob by hand!!

The Limerick Lap Harp has 26 strings (wire or nylon) and  a 3  1/2 octave range. Standard strings begin at F below Middle C.  Optional nylon strings begin an octave below Middle C and are wound.   It stands at 31 inches tall, 13 inches wide, and weighs 12 pounds.  

This harp has a solid Cherry or Walnut  body and an aircraft birch soundboard that provides excellent resonation.  The Limerick has an authentic Irish shape complete with extra decorative curves and details.   It has a beautiful bright voice and is a very portable little harp.   Click on the link below to hear this harp.
