When purchasing Customized NHL licensed Hockey jerseys it is very important to point out that there are two Very Different styles being sold on the market today.
1) The first jersey style (Sold by most sellers on EBAY and NHL.com) comes directly from CCM already customized with the players Name and Number(s) on the jersey. Although the Name and Numbers appear to be sewn THEY ARE NOT. Instead the Name and Numbers are GLUED on, and will eventually peel off after repeated washings.
2) The second style has the jersey arriving directly from CCM blank (there is no name or number(s) on the jersey). The Name and Numbers are then Sewn on the jersey by a third party. This quality offered is much superior to that of style 1) above.
Every Hockey Jersey we sell has the players name and number(s) professionally SEWN on the jersey in the official team font and colors. We do not sell jerseys with Glued On Name and Numbers. A simple tip in verifying whether the Name and Numbers are actually sewn on the jersey is by simply turning the jersey "inside-out". If the Name and Numbers are sewn on you should see a "zig-zag" stitch outline on the inside of the jersey. If you do not see a "zig-zag" stitch outline then the Name and Numbers are "Glued" on. |
