While watching the Soap Opera network recently (what? I was sick in bed!), I noticed something odd. At the start of a marathon of the 1980's soap drama Dynasty, I was prepared to laugh at the outdated clothing and accessories of the privileged female characters. But, once it started, I was surprised to realize... they didn't look outdated.
