Dear Robert,
As you know, my son Chris and I bought a number of photographs from you recently with the purpose of using some of them to obtain autographs on them by the astronauts who were the special guests at the UACC Convention and Show in Burbank. The show took place this last weekend, and I want you to know just how successful your photos were.
The astronauts there included Buzz Aldrin, Alan Bean, Scott Carpenter, Gene Cernan, Gordon Cooper, Walt Cunningham, Charlie Duke, Ed Gibson, Jack Lousma, Bruce McCandless, Wally Schirra, Rusty Schweickart, Dave Searfoss, Tom Stafford, and Paul Weitz. Although I do not remember now which ones did so, a number of the astronauts commented on your photos when we handed them to them to be signed. All of the comments were to the effect that they had never seen such sharp and clear photos before. They were familiar with the images themselves, but they had never seen those photos so clear and sharp and with such vivid colors before. Every time they commented on the photos, we gave them your name and referred them to your eBay store.
Just thought you would like to know. Thank you again for the above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty assistance you gave Chris and me in providing these photos to us. We could have obtained the photos elsewhere, but they would not have been close to the quality of yours -- and we would not have received so many compliments on the photos we brought with us. Those compliments belong to you.

I’m not one for writing, but I feel that I have to tell you just how impressed I am with the photo that I purchased from you. As I told you, I was surprised to find the 16x20 Lincoln at Antietam photo available from your online gallery for $59.99, when it was listed at the New York Times Store for $375! You assured me that you print would be as good or better, and you assured me that I could send it back for a full refund if dissatisfied. I did not really believe you, but I figured it was well worth a $300 savings. Anyhow, I received the print today, and I am stunned—shocked—amazed! I didn’t know that any photo could be so beautiful or perfect. I’ve bought a lot of photos from a lot of photographers and galleries over the years, but nothing has ever compared to this photo. This is a photo from 140 years ago, and it is sharper and more life like then photos taken today. Alexander Gardner would be proud knowing that you are doing his photography justice and then some. Keep up the great work. You have a customer for life.
