About SurplusByDesign
SurplusByDesign was started in 2007 with a commitment to providing the ultimate value to customers in consumer electronics! We work hard to offer low prices, high-quality products, and outstanding customer service.
We have a team of dedicated people who do everything from sourcing, testing, listing, and shipping product, as well as answering customer inquiries.
Sourcing We gather our inventory from retailers all over the country! We do not drop ship items from China!
Testing Each unit is tested by our own A+ certified technicians. This includes computers, MP3 players, LCD Monitors, and cameras. For items that are sealed in their original packaging, we do not break this seal, so that we can pass along the excitement of un-boxing your very own brand new toy!
Listing Each unit is cleaned and photographed in our facility. We do not use stock photographs unless the unit is sealed. For auctions, every picture that you see is of the exact item that you are bidding on! For items where you see a quantity listing, the images are of one of the units for sale, but may not be of the exact item that you will receive.
We are committed to providing clear and accurate listings of each and every item that we sell. Please read carefully through the listing before placing your bid, or submitting a question. We are happy to answer your questions, but please check the listing for the information first.
Shipping At SurplusByDesign, we know that you have paid good money for your electronics, and you want to start enjoying them right away! We promise to ship your items to you within 1 business day of receiving your cleared payment. Better still, within Canada we ship your item with UPS (some exceptions apply), so you get it as fast as possible! Most shipments within Ontario and Quebec are delivered the next day! Items going to the USA are shipped with Canada Post to help avoid brokerage fees (some exceptions apply).
We send you a tracking number as soon as we ship your package so that you can see the progress of your package.
Customer Service We know that you can't put a price on customer service, and we know that you expect nothing but the best. At SurplusByDesign, we are committed to meeting and exceeding your expectations! We try to answer every inquiry, however please appreciate that we have limited office hours, and can't always respond immediately. We ask that you please submit any inquiries or concerns through the eBay messaging system, and ensure that the eBay item ID is included in the text or subject line of the message.
Our office hours are from 8:30-5:00 PM Monday to Friday. Within these hours, we will answer your questions as quickly as we can. If you have a question on a weekend, or in the evening, please understand that we cannot be at the computer at all times to answer your questions, but we will get back to you as soon as we can.
