What does everything in the listing mean?

We at Surplusbydesign understand that at times, all the information contained in a listing can be a little overwhelming and a little confusing. Hopefully this page can help to settle some of the questions you may have about what certain statements in our listings mean.

PHYSICAL CONDITION:

SEALED BOX: This unit is brand new sealed in the box. It has never been opened and still has the original seal intact.

GREAT: No markings or defects. Item is virtually brand new and may still have original factory protective covers.

VERY GOOD: Item is in very good condition, works perfectly but may have a few minor scuffs.

GOOD: Item works well and has couple of physical imperfections. May have a deep scratch on top cover/ palm rest/ or bezel.

FAIR: Item may have a lot of physical imperfections and wear. More than one deep scratch and any marking on the LCD

AS IS: This is for items that do not work at all, either from heavy physical damage or internal issues.

DETAILS:

BILINGUAL KEYBOARD: A bilingual keyboard has both the English and French Canadian characters on the keys that are effected. The French characters are typically on the right side of the keys and are in a different color.
