The
gas tank market is getting confusing. Many sellers are now selling cheap
knock off imported tanks.
Our gas tanks unless we specify are all premium quality tanks made in
the United States and Canada by original equipment manufacturers. And
are a bright silver-metallic.
These premium quality tanks are treated with a clear “three dip” rust
preventive process on the inside and outside of the tank.
Imported tanks can be distinguished by its black painted color. However
not all imported tanks are painted black. Some Taiwan and China tanks
are bare, untreated metal tanks that do not always meet original specs
and do not always fit properly. Many times the steel is thinner gauge
as well.
We feel you need to know this information when deciding who to buy your
next tank from so you can compare “apples to apples”. What seems like
a good deal may not be. Given the importance of a gas tank why settle
for a low quality tank. |

PREMIUM warrants its fuel tanks for a period of three years from the date
of purchase. Within this period, we will replace any product shown to
be defective in material or workmanship. SPECTRA PREMIUM does not represent
or warrant any product which is not used for its intended purpose or which
is improperly installed. SPECTRA PREMIUM liability shall be limited to
the cost of replacing a defective product with the same terms and conditions
as when initially sold. |
