Just because
we physically don't have something in our hands doesn't mean that
it is not readily available in stock with the manufacturer or our supplier.
Again, to stock everything for every car is just not practical. This
doesn't mean that it is not available as in most instances it is in
stock with the manufacturer/supplier for shipment directly to you
as a "drop ship". Drop ships are more common place then
most realize and a majority of the sellers out there use this method
as a standard business practice.
In addition,
like with interior upholstery, the most popular options, colors or
styles are in stock and ready to ship. Less popular items are still
available but are produced on demand to fill the order.
Also, eBay has
become an international shopping ground that most people are familiar
with because it gives the buyer a free place to compare product &
prices and not feel trapped into ones website or catalog. If we don't
advertise the variety of products that are available then one may
not be aware of its existence or availability.
