Vintage Image Photos began in December 2010, with a single scanner working out of a home office to digitize newspaper photo archives. We can now archive hundreds of photos per day, allowing us to bring thousands of fresh auctions per week to the world's largest online auction marketplace. We are constantly adding to our inventory and have assembled an archive of hundreds of thousands of press photos from Cleveland, Detroit, Boston, Denver, Seattle, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Chicago, & New Orleans.
We want every transaction you have with Vintage Image Photos to be a great buying experience. We do our best to describe and show each photo accurately. The pictures in the listing are scans of the actual photo, not a stock image, so you know exactly what to expect. We ship within a day of payment, use tracking for every shipment and respond promptly to all messages and requests. Info on the rear indicates the photo was taken in 1929 the year the Empire Builder transcontinental train was launched. Patch on the conductors uniform says “Empire Builder”.
