| Embossed Copper Jewelry
Original designs by Tony are drawn by hand. A mold is made and the design is embossed, or engraved, onto solid copper. A protective finish is applied to the copper jewelry to prevent it from tarnishing. As with all copper products, the finish can eventually wear off but an acrylic sealant can easily be re-applied when necessary to maintain the appearance. Some people prefer to let the copper oxidize naturally giving it a lovely green patina as time passes.
This technique is used to make our unique handmade solid copper chain and cuff bracelets and copper rings. One style of copper bracelet, pictured at the bottom of this page, is made using a combination of both handmade copper jewelry techniques. |
| Silver Plated Copper Jewelry
Original designs by Tony are drawn by hand. The designs are printed on solid copper sheets which are then cut into individual copper jewelry pieces. The handcrafted jewelry is silver plated and an epoxy is used to add color to the designs. Each piece of copper jewelry is individually diamond or "bright" cut by hand using a diamond tipped instrument. Several coats of finish are applied to protect the beautiful copper jewelry. No cleaning or polishing are required.

This style of handmade copper bracelet is much more labor intensive which is reflected in the higher price.
