Occassionally I get asked if I really do make ALL the dream catchers you see in my auctions. The answer is YES. Each and every dream catcher is hand made by me, noone else. I have noone working for me.
And all of my larger dreamcatchers are pretty much one of a kinds. I never make two identical dream catchers so not only are you getting one you know is hand made but you are also getting one that you know noone else will have one like it.
I buy every bead, feather, all my materials myself and do each piece of work myself. If you read in my comments from other sellers you will see I also buy some of my beads and feathers from Ebay sellers. I also have a couple of stores here in Abbotsford where I buy my products that I use to make the dream catchers from too, mostly from a store called Big Foot Moccasin.
Every dreamcatcher, every piece of jewelry, every hair clip, and all the accessories that you see I have for sale is hand beaded, hand webbed and designed by me. I do not copy anyone else designs, I don't go looking on the internet or anywhere else to copy someone else's designs. I never know the colors of beads I am going to use or the design I am going to make until I actually sit down and start working on it.
I have also been asked if I take requests. That answer is YES.
I have had people ask me if I could make one for them in a specific color or size etc. When that happens I reply to the request as soon as I am able to, giving the options available and a price quote. Prices will generally range around common prices I have for similiar ring size dream catchers. The beading I do in the webbing also can affect the price, the more time it takes with the bead work if alot is requested the more I have to charge. I do not, however, bind you to the request. Once I make the dream catcher you requested I offer you first option to buy it by sending you pictures of it and if you wish to buy it I make convenient arrangements for purchasing it. If for some reason you choose not to or can't buy it I simply list it on Ebay for anyone to purchase.
How are my dream catchers parcelled up?
Each dreamcatcher is wrapped in tissue paper then secured in bubble wrap before being parcelled. Dream catchers smaller than 7" are securely shipped in padded envelopes and sent within Canada as regular parcels or by expedited delivery. To the USA and other locations, shipping is by Small Air Packet USA/International.
All Dream Catchers, 8" or larger are shipped in boxes by Expedited delivery with a tracking number. I don't make anything off of shipping, I try to get the shipping charges as close as possible to the actual cost, if there is a difference of more than $2 extra that you pay then I issue a refund. I also don't buy boxes, I recycle used boxed and make my own.
As stated in each description, I show the timelines for each Postal service so if you want it quicker than in the actual options I offer that is not a problem, but understand, quicker service means higher costs for shipping and I do have to charge for that.
