What condition should I expect?
We pride ourselves of being the best in the business when it comes to accuracy and correct product description. The condition of the received item should correspond to the condition mentioned in the listing.


Do you offer combined shipping?
We do offer combined shipping for US and Canadian orders where a shipping fee is present. We charge half the shipping fee for each additional item. Other orders from international destinations may be eligible for shipping discount depending on their weight. Please feel free to contact us to inquire.
Because our software does not accommodate pre-sale combined shipping, we refund you the shipping difference in PayPal after placing your payment. You have to contact us after finishing your purchases to initiate the refund.

How long does it take to have my book shipped?
We ship most orders within one business day.

How much time does it take for my shipment to arrive?
Our US orders take 7-21 days to arrive. Canadian and UK orders take 10 business days on average. Orders to the rest of Europe and world can take 3 weeks on average. Orders to some South American countries like Brazil, Chile and Argentine can take up to 2 months due to local post office sorting problems. The stated times are approximate and may not apply on every single shipment but our packages generally arrive within optimal time, and often much earlier than expected. You can check our feedback to get general ideas of how quick other customers get their orders.

How much does it cost to ship to my country?

What courier do you use for shipping?
We use USPS for American orders, Canada Post for Canadian orders and private courier for the rest of the world

Do you offer tracking number?
We do offer tracking numbers for American and Canadian orders. USPS tracking numbers are sent when we fulfill your orders, and available on request for Canadian orders. Tracking numbers are not available for the rest of the world.

Why does your shipping charge expensive for some books?
Books over 4 lbs (2 kgs) are expensive to send outside North America. We charge at least $40 to cover the costs, even if the book is worth $5.

Why does shipping to Canada cost more than to USA?
The USPS has a flat rate Media Mail category that enables sellers to ship books for a low cost. In comparison Canada Post does not distinguish between books and other products, and the cost of Expedited Post is fairly more expensive and hugely dependent on the destination.

The shipping address is incorrect. How do I change my shipping address?
Please contact us as soon as possible to make sure the package is sent to the right address. If the book has already been mailed, there is very little that we can do. You have to wait until the book is either returned back to us to be able to reship it to the right address. A re-shipping fee will be charged and if there was postage due for the mail return we will have to charge it to the customer.

Is it possible to pick up a book directly from any of your locations?
Books can be picked up from the Toronto location. It is not possible to pick up a book from our other locations. Please call 416 283 8007 to arrange for a book pick up.


How do you protect the book to withstand shipping?
Kbooks offers you personalized customer service with packaging. Our items are normally packaged in a plastic bag to protect the book and dust jacket. The sealed book is than inserted in a sturdy bubble envelope for shipping.
If the book is particularly delicate it will be packaged with extra bubble wrap and or wrapped in cardboard to provide additional protection. If the book is large or otherwise would benefit from a stronger package the book will be shipped in a box.
If you have specific shipping or packaging requirements we will be happy to comply. Just email or phone us to confirm you shipping or packaging needs.

I am sending the book as gift, can I attach a personal note?
We will gladly write a personalized note and mail it with the order. If requested, we will also leave out packing slips that may show the purchase price.

Are the prices your have listed negotiable?
Books priced at less than $15 are not. For the rest, make us an offer. We attempt to set our prices to be very competitive on the internet. If you feel that we are to0 high make us an offer of what you think would be reasonable.


How do I return an item?
We accept all products back if they were returned to us in the same advertised condition of the sale and in their original packaging. Items must be returned within 14 days of their receipt. Refunds will be given as money back once the item has been received. The buyer pays for return shipping. You must contact us first for return authorization to return your product before mailing it back to us. Packages returned without proper authorization will be refused by our courier and no refunds will be issued.
Our initial shipping and handling cost will be deducted from the total order value (including listings advertised as free shipping). A restocking fee of 20% off the selling price will also be applicable on all returns. The same fees will be applicable on packages refused by customers.


You had the item in your store, and I paid and bought it. Why did you refund me?
On rare occasions, some books are over-ordered within very short time span. Sending delete instruction to Ebay takes some time to be put in effect. If your order was placed during that time, we will have to honour the first sale and refund your order.


I have a question, when should I expect an answer?
We generally answer inquiries within a business day. If the question involves research, we may take slight longer time to research the correct answer. We DO NOT leave any unanswered question, and every single question is treated with priority. We are available Monday through Friday (9AM - 5PM) EST excluding national statutory holidays.
